Style guides and AI guidance
The AI review section of a profile holds what the AI reads besides the segment.
Review quality
One question: Standard or Premium. The section shows what each costs in AI words. The AI review.
AI guidance
AI guidance is one list of lines, one sentence each. The AI reads the lines that are on with every segment and uses them only to decide what is a critical error. The lines are grouped by where they come from, each with a small label:
- This profile: added here. Click a line to change it, Enter saves, Esc cancels.
- Language default: the same on every profile of the language, collapsed until you open the group.
- Learn: approved in Learn or taught from a report; change it there.
- LQA brief: drafted from the profile's scorecard history with Draft lines from the LQA history.
- Style guide: extracted from a guide you upload with Add lines from a style guide (
.docx,.docor.pdf); the DO and DON'T sections become lines.
Switch a line off to keep it without the AI reading it. Lines set on an account or language tier are shown with their tier.
Every segment carries the lines that are on, so there is a ceiling; the counter under Add a line shows it (for example "16 of 60 lines"). A save over the ceiling is refused with the numbers and nothing is ever cut.
Prompt addendum
Under Advanced: free text added after the guidance lines, for what is not a line. Its line says how long it is and when it was last edited. Keep it short and specific.
Draft lines from the LQA history
Draft lines from the LQA history sits in the From Learn group, beside Add lines from a style guide: a second way to add lines. It reads the LQA findings this profile stores and drafts house-style lines in one AI pass. The line under it says how many findings are stored; a draft needs at least 5. With fewer the button is off: add LQA scorecards in Learn, Add sources, Upload files. You edit the draft and Apply these lines adds them with the source LQA brief, replacing the lines of the last brief. This is the one shortcut that skips the Learn queue: you are the review step, so read before you click.
What the AI never does with it
Guidance decides what the AI flags and how it explains it. It never rewrites your file and it never changes a rule's severity or a term list; those are yours.
