Sign off

Sign off is the one action on a report that closes it. It records who signed off, when, the outcome (Pass or Fail) and the score at that moment. The Reports list then counts the report as signed off and the row says so.

What holds it back

An open critical finding. Someone marks it ignored or fixed first. Findings of other severities are recorded as open and do not block. Spelling findings never block.

Who can sign

A person in the app. A report shared with you by link is signed in its own workspace, never by the link holder. No assistant and no API call can sign a report off: the MCP server and the API can read, run, mark and share. That is where their rights end.

Reopening

A signed report can be reopened by a person in the app, and the sign off is recorded again when it is signed the next time.
